Getting social

Enjoying who we work with is a big part of life here at Decision Tech.

Our team is a diverse bunch and we try to indulge as many social interests as we can, both in and out of the office.

We love the fun stuff!

Five-a-side

We have a five-a-side social one lunchtime each week, we pay for the pitch and you can take a longer lunch hour to celebrate/shower/assume the recovery position (delete as applicable). Participation not obligatory!

Running club

Have a jog around central London with a bunch of your colleagues twice a week. Whether you’re a finely honed athlete, or struggle to maintain a conversation anything more than 100m into a run, there’ll be others at a similar level.

Softball

Every year we all head over to Regents Park for our company’s annual softball game. Despite being a fiercely fought affair, any sort of softballing ability is strictly unnecessary, and we always end with a friendly trip to the pub.

Board games club

If you love a board game, then this club will be a bit of you. Bring your favourite game, get your game face on and don’t hold a grudge if you lose.

Social start-up

We’re a social little lot. If a particular activity floats your boat and you can persuade the rest of the team to join you doing it, you can apply for a contribution from the social budget.

Monthly mingle

Every month we host an afternoon team social so you can eat, drink and chat. If the weather is good this is up on the roof terrace, always involves some tunes, and occasionally the odd game.

Culture club

Our culture club are super eclectic. From axe-throwing to archery - we've tried it. Culture club has a budget and it is not afraid to use it.

Any excuse for a party

We take every opportunity to eat, drink and be merry. From World Cup matches, to the Royal Wedding, and Chinese New Year we are always ready for a celebration.

Away days

We take our whole team out for an away day 3-4 times a year. Away days are a great opportunity to communicate our strategy and plans to the whole team and answer any questions, but most importantly, it’s a great chance to strengthen our team bonds. And after the work stops, every away day involves an afternoon doing something fun that everyone can join in. Previously we’ve gone jet boating, had a day trip to the seaside, joined a treasure hunt, had a graffiti day, and taken a hair-raising ride down the 178-metre Orbit Slide, as well as loads of other cool activities.

Office twins

It's hard to tell whether this lot all dressed alike before they started working together, or if we have just spent too much time living with the clothing choices of our colleagues, but we've started to notice that our team are rapidly morphing into one another.

Look out though, if your sartorial matches come to our attention you may find yourselves taking the top spot on our Office Twins board.
